The threat of a break-in

Contact with pathogens, can develop into an infection if the organisms in question get into your body, disperse and cause damage. This leads to inflammation within the body and you become sick. The period between infection by the organism and the appearance of inflammation is called the incubation period.

Chills

One of the most common sicknesses is the flu. Every year, millions of people are infected with the flu virus. Their airways become affected two to three days after the initial infection. People ill with the flu usually suffer from high fever and chills. This is because your immune system is fighting against the flu virus. It can often take a few weeks before you have totally recovered.
